Security camera footage of American swimmer Ryan Lochte and three U.S. teammates at a gas station in Rio has been released.

The footage shows Lochte, along with Jack Conger, Gunnar Bentz and Jimmy Feigen leaving a bathroom which they allegedly vandalized.

The tape also shows the four swimmers attempting to leave the gas station in a taxi before being stopped and escorted out of the cab. The four swimmers are also shown sitting on a curb with their hands up.

The Associated Press reports that two security guards pointed guns at Lochte and the three other swimmers during a dispute at a gas station. The security footage released does not show the incident with the guns.

The detail of Lochte and the three other swimmers having guns pointed at them by security is a change in the version of events came after police interviewed one of the security guards on Thursday. Brazilian police previously said no gun was pointed at the swimmers.

An official told AP that Lochte, along with Conger, Bentz and Feigen, stopped at a gas station in Barra da Tijuca, a suburb of Rio where many Olympic venues are located. One of the swimmers tried but failed to open the door of an outside bathroom.

A few of the swimmers then pushed on the door and broke it. A security guard appeared and confronted them pointing the gun, the official said. A second security guard then appeared who also pointed a weapon at the swimmers.

According to the official, the gas station manager then arrived. Using a customer to translate, the manager asked the swimmers to pay for the broken door. After a discussion, they did pay him an unknown amount of money and then left.
